Description David L. Parsley 2001-03-19 18:32:31 UTC
localhost xinetd[790]: socket creation failed (Protocol not supported
(errno = 93)). service = tftp

Dunno if this affects other services, but I use tftp a LOT.

Comment 1 Glen Foster 2001-03-19 20:29:16 UTC
This defect considered MUST-FIX for Florence Gold

Comment 2 David L. Parsley 2001-03-19 20:33:03 UTC
OK, this is fixed in rawhide (I think it was just /etc/xinetd.d/tftp). Assuming
tftp-server from rawhide is what ships for 7.1, this can be considered
RESOLVED. (but I'm not going to close it ;-)

Comment 3 Matt Wilson 2001-03-19 20:44:22 UTC
needs protocol=udp, which is in the latest packages (and will be in final)
