Description of problem: When I resume after a suspend to RAM, within about 2 minutes the system slows down to the point of being unusable. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-2.6.22.9-91.fc7 How reproducible: Consistently Steps to Reproduce: 1. Suspend to RAM 2. Resume 3. Watch the box to fall over Actual results: Expected results: Additional info: I had top running in a terminal window to see if any particular process was going nuts. I saw no such process, but the load average did spike up to 50+ immediately after resume, then gradually fell off. Oddly, at the same time the reported load average was decreasing in top, the system's responsiveness got worse and worse.

I am no longer using Fedora 7. I don't know if this ever got resolved, but will test it again in Fedora 8 when I have some time.
