Description Peter Vrabec 2007-10-23 10:24:23 UTC
xsane should be ported to use NSS library for cryptography.
See the tracking bug for details and links on how it could be done.

Comment 1 Nils Philippsen 2007-10-23 12:40:03 UTC
Where in xsane does it use cryptography that you think needs to be converted
over to using NSS?

Comment 2 Tomas Mraz 2007-10-23 12:49:53 UTC
MD5 for authentication against sane server?

Comment 3 Nils Philippsen 2016-06-03 16:27:35 UTC
Sorry for the long wait. At the moment, I don't have the time to work on this, such a change would have to be done involving upstream. Closing accordingly.
