Description of problem:
This is a rhel4 dup of bz 219189.

Attempting many legged mirror (>8) will cause crazy thing to happen.

2.6.9-63.ELsmp
lvm2-2.02.27-2.el4
lvm2-cluster-2.02.27-2.el4

How reproducible:
Everytime

This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red
Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release.  Product Management has requested
further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential
inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed
products.  This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update
release.

Verified that the warning is now in place even if there is a typo in it (bz 450601).
