Description Marco Ceci 2007-10-30 13:35:07 UTC
Description of problem:

A failover of a nfs mount point does not occur if there is a process holding the
filesystem even when force_unmount option is enabled. The netfs.sh script tries
to use "unmount -f" but this does not kill the processes that are holding the
filesystem.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

rgmanager-1.9.68.1

How reproducible:

always

Steps to Reproduce:

1. "cat > /nfs_mount" where "/nfs_mount" is a NFS mount point managed by
rgmanager where the force_unmount option is enabled
2. try to relocate the resource

Actual results:

the service relocate will fail because a process is holding the filesystem

Expected results:

rgmanager should kill the process and proceed with the unmount
