Description Reindl Harald 2007-11-18 19:06:55 UTC
Seamonkey seems to have a BIG rendering-problem
Look my homepage http://www.rhsoft.net/ in Seamonky and ANY other browser even
MSIE - Titles und Subtitels will not be shown or if selecting them shown very
strange.

The page and css are since some years 100% clean
This error is not to sea in any other browser, even old phoenix-alpha-versions

I do not know is this the feodra-version or all seamonkey-builds, but i hope
this will be solved soon..........

Not able to reproduce

Cannot reproduce here with Seamonkey seamonkey-1.1.6-2.fc9.x86_64. Do you have
something else going in your computer, which would help us to reproduce this?

Comment 3 Reindl Harald 2007-11-19 15:18:08 UTC
No, i do not understand this really
I have deleted the whole profile and problem exists also
All other software and browsers on this system works without troubles

Good to know that it avoids only me because my default-browser is firefox

Comment 4 Matěj Cepl 2007-11-19 15:47:11 UTC
OK, so if you find some ideas how to reproduce this, please, let us know. Unless
I hear from you in a month, I will have to close this bug as unreproducible. I
am sorry.

Also, can you please provide the exact version numbers you are using?

Looking at your screenshot, I'm confused because of the upper right corner.
SeaMonkey usually shows a blue icon, like one can see on the seamonkey project
home page.

However, in your screenshot, I can see a little penguin?

And out of curiostiy, how did you manage to get a german localized UI?
I didn't know the Fedora Seamonkey package offers that.

You said, you don't know if this problem is related to Fedora's version of
SeaMonkey or whether it happens with builds from mozilla.org, too.
Would you mind to try?

In case you have several other things installed, like language packs, addons,
themes, etc.: Can you please try a profile that doesn't have any addons installed?

Thanks

while making the screenshot another theme and german language pack was running
but using a empty profile makes the same here

Let's keep that NEEDINFO there.

Reporter, could you please reply to the previous question? If you won't reply in
one month, I will have to close this bug as INSUFFICIENT_DATA. Thank you.

Comment 9 Reindl Harald 2008-01-18 09:29:22 UTC
What question do you mean?
See comment 6

Comment 10 Matěj Cepl 2008-01-18 11:04:21 UTC
OK, I am sorry, but we are not able to reproduce it here, and nobody seems to
have a clue what's going on here, so I have to close this as CANTFIX. Please,
reopen if you get any information how to reproduce this.
