Description Ronald Wahl 2007-11-18 21:24:16 UTC
Description of problem:

Gnome drive mount applet does not appear sometimes. Obviously it only works on
first login.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

gnome-applets-2.20.0-7.fc8

How reproducible:

Almost every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login after boot at GDM into Gnome
2. Verify that the drive mount applet is visible.
3. Logout
4. Wait for some time - lets say 30.60 seconds (this is just to be sure that
any background processes, e.g. dbus, finishes)
5. Login again

Actual results:

Drive mount applet is running but not not visible.

Expected results:

Drive mount applet is visible on every login.

Additional info:

The new upstream version of gnome-applets (2.21.1) seem to fix this. I manually
applied the changes to GNOME_DriveMountApplet.server and it seems to work.

We have gnome-applets 2.21.4 in rawhide now, so this should be fixed.
