Description of problem: ekiga on Fedora 8 is compiled without the D-Bus support, so things like reaction on the incoming call are not possible to do. Please compile with the D-Bus support. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.0.11-1

ekiga-2.0.11-2.fc8 has been pushed to the Fedora 8 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. If you want to test the update, you can install it with su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update ekiga'
Works for me, thanks!
Even with these packages and using the ekiga-pa-suspender I frequently have ekiga die when it tries to use the audio devices. I had it working for a couple of days, then I rebooted and I can't figure out what changed that made it stop working. Any ideas what I should be looking for? It crashes everytime I use it, now.
Did you start ekiga-pa-suspender again?

For me ekiga crashes (!) each time I try to play a sound with it or when the program tries to do so by itself because of an incoming call, or whatever. I use the most current ekiga release for F8.

FWIW, and as I only use sound in ekiga and rhythmbox, I made the script I attached that pauses rhythmbox while ekiga is in use. Note that it starts ekiga and rhythmbox, if they're not running.
