Description Lamont Peterson 2007-12-07 00:00:15 UTC
Description of problem:
KDM and kwin have the ability to cause a 1-time only boot time change to GRUB
configuration which allows them to provide the option to specify which entry
to boot to when you select reboot. This feature is being blocked by the
selinux-targetted policy.

Here's the text of the denial:
avc: denied { execute } for comm=kdm dev=dm-16 egid=0 euid=0 exe=/usr/bin/kdm
exit=-13 fsgid=0 fsuid=0 gid=0 items=0 name=grub pid=3281
scontext=system_u:system_r:xdm_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 sgid=0
subj=system_u:system_r:xdm_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 suid=0 tclass=file
tcontext=system_u:object_r:bootloader_exec_t:s0 tty=(none) uid=0

Bulk closing a old selinux policy bugs that were in the modified state. If the
