Description Brian 2001-05-21 21:14:42 UTC
Description of Problem:
If connection name in "Dialup configuration" has ampersand sign then wvdial doesn't work when started with the "RH PPP dialer". If the connection is closed by clicking on close then wvdial processes are left, using up processor time.

How Reproducible:
every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add dialup connection to "Dialup Configuration" with name "U-Net_C&W"
2. Attempt to connect using RH PPP dialer

Actual Results:
Connection fails to be made

Expected Results:
Modem should dial but doesn't.

Additional Information:
/var/log/messages has some error messages including this line:
... WvDial: Warning Section [Dialer U-Net_C] does not exist in wvdial.conf.
