Description ulfh 1999-07-24 06:46:41 UTC
Not sure if this is a bug or not, and have no ideas what
modules that are involved. I can NOT make my network card
work with RedHat Linux v. 6.0. Hardware is Alpha (miata)
and I get following error if I try to ping:

PING 192.168.1.72 (192.1.1.72): 56 data bytes

html - which seams to have the same problem)

The link lamp is then turned of on the HUB, and I have to
reboot to turn it on. Can not my alpha from other
computers. Works OK with VMS and Tru64 UNIX.

Best regards

This is a ping problem, not a problem with your card.
Install the latest netkit-base-0.10-35 from Raw Hide.
