Description of problem:
I have .avi with detached subtitles in .srt file. When selecting
View->Subtitles->None in menu totem is freezes but video is continuing to play.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
totem-2.20.1-1.fc8

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start to play video with subtitles in srt in totem.
2. After it starts select View->Subtitles->None

Actual results:
Totem window is unresponding. Video is continue to play.

Expected results:
All is good.

Could you please get a backtrace of the hang, with the debuginfo files installed?
Also attach the output of:
rpm -qa "*gstreamer*"
to your bug.

Although I don't expect the problem to be fixed, could you please test with
gstreamer-plugins-base 0.10.15 available in updates-testing?

With new gstreamer-plugins-base problem still exist.

Known upstream: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344706

This will be fixed when we switch to playbin2
