Description of problem: There is a configuration mismatch for texttops filter: in /usr/share/cups/charsets/* the fonts selection lines read ... Courier Courier-Bold Courier-Italic Courier-BoldItalic or ... Courier Courier-Bold Courier-Italic Courier-Bold-Italic (utf-8) instead of ... Courier Courier-Bold Courier-Oblique Courier-BoldOblique as these are the font names in /usr/share/cups/fonts . This affects printing files (where mime.convs/local.convs uses texttops) with the option -o prettyprint . Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): cups-1.2.12-6 How reproducible: Very. Steps to Reproduce: 1. LANG=en_US lp -d FC6_HPTasht -o prettyprint -o document-format=application/x- shell cups_selective_rm.sh or 2. lp -d FC6_HPTasht -o prettyprint -o document-format=application/x-shell cups_selective_rm.sh Actual results: Printout does not have comments italicized but has keywords in bold. Expected results: Printout to have comments italicized. Additional info: 1. Doing the suggested change solves the problem. 2. The ``-o document-format=application/x-shell'' is need (but shouldn't be). I'll file a seperate bug.

1. Printing to Cups-PDF printer (driver: PostscriptColor, backend: cups-pdf) produces correct output. Strange?
Seems to work fine on Fedora 8.
