This bug has been copied from bug #336961 and has been proposed
to be backported to 5.1 z-stream (EUS).

This bugzilla has Keywords: Regression.  

Since no regressions are allowed between releases, 
it is also being proposed as a blocker for this release.  

Please resolve ASAP.

Revision 0.rc2.55.el5.3 has been built which should
resolve this bug.

The RHTS test bz336961 within the autofs workflow has been
run sucessfully against the update to check that the issue
has been resolved. But before proceeding further we will
need the customer to test this to be sure.

Customer has confirmed that the update resolves the issue.
Build is autofs-5.0.1-0.rc2.55.el5.3.
