Additional info:

I'm running KDE and moving files with konqueror bluetooth:/ sdp plugin

-- Additional comment from dwalsh@redhat.com on 2008-01-15 10:02 EST --
Why is hcid searching /var/lib/misc directory?

---8<---

hcid uses /var/lib/misc/oui.txt to find the maker of Bluetooth devices.

The upstream is at:
http://standards.ieee.org/regauth/oui/oui.txt

Comment 1 Karsten Hopp 2008-01-22 23:36:38 UTC
Can we move that file to /usr/share/hwdata ? That's where hwdata keeps its files.

Comment 2 Bastien Nocera 2008-01-22 23:59:43 UTC
Fine by me, we can change the location in the bluez-utils package.

Comment 3 Fedora Update System 2008-01-24 21:48:00 UTC
hwdata-0.215-1.fc8 has been pushed to the Fedora 8 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
