Well, not much to go on here, but... can you provide a few more details?
What video hardware/driver are you using?
Are you enabling kwin compositing?
(I ask because this sounds more like an X issue atm).

Comment 2 Souiri Mohamed Zakaria 2008-01-28 08:58:30 UTC
I am using kwin compositing with an ati-radeon 9600se and radeon driver, this
never occurs when using gnome with the desktop effect enabled.

Comment 3 Rex Dieter 2008-01-28 12:50:14 UTC
Afaict, kwin compositing does more than compiz (uses more hw accel, features).
OK, please report your findings upstream to bugs.kde.org. That's the best way
to get the needed info into the (upstream) devs to make a difference here.

Comment 4 Souiri Mohamed Zakaria 2008-01-28 21:34:24 UTC
the bug seems to be fixed after an update of the kde-workspace package. but to
be sure i will try to reproduce the bug during the next two days.

Comment 5 Kevin Kofler 2008-01-28 21:37:38 UTC
We didn't change anything in kdebase-workspace which would be likely to fix
this issue. Maybe it was an X11/driver upgrade which fixed it?

Comment 6 Lukáš Tinkl 2008-02-04 10:46:06 UTC
So is the bug fixed for you?

Comment 7 Souiri Mohamed Zakaria 2008-02-05 02:52:10 UTC
the bug is now fixed.
