Description Peter Janakiev 2008-02-11 14:38:19 UTC
Description of problem:
Text zooming with the mousse wheel (scroll) in Epiphany works in the opposidte
direction than in the other FF / gecko applications, for example Lifeera, Miro
and so on. To zoom IN text on Liferea one shuold press CTRL + Scroll down, to do
the same in epiphany one should press CTRL + scroll up. It should be the same in
all applications using web rendering engnie so that the user get consistent
experience.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
epiphany-2.20.2-1.fc8

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Zoom text in epiphany window using CTRL + mouse wheel.
2.
3.

Actual results:
Scroll down should zooms the text out

Expected results:
Scroll + CTRL should act consistently in all applications, either change it in
all other apps (like Miro, Liferea and so on) or change it in epiphany

Additional info:
I personally prefer the way it works in Epiphany, scroll UP shuold zoom in and
scroll down should decrease the text size but probably it is better to follow
all other apps

If this issue turns out to still be reproduceable in the latest updates for this
Fedora Core release, please file a bug report in the the upstream bugzilla
located at http://bugzilla.gnome.org in the Epiphany product.

Once you've filed your bug report to the upstream bugzilla, if you paste the new
bug URL here, Red Hat will continue to track the issue in the centralized
upstream bug tracker, and will review any bug fixes that become available for
consideration in future updates.

Setting status to NEEDINFO, and awaiting upstream bug report URL for tracking.

Thanks in advance.
