no flags Details

Description Stephen Sentoff 2008-03-05 02:31:18 UTC
Description of problem:
The script for the dovecot entry in logwatch doesn't leave enough space for IPv6
addresses. This is the script at /usr/share/logwatch/scripts/services/dovecot.
This is a cosmetic problem, but easily fixed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
NA

How reproducible:
All the time for me, at least.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect to dovecot (I use IMAP, but I think POP would do the same), via IPv6
using an address that doesn't have reverse DNS.
2. Inspect the logwatch output.
3.

Actual results:
The columns don't line up.

Expected results:
Columns should line up.

Additional info:
Attached is my modification to the script to fix the problem.
