Last modified: 2008-10-22 17:45:03 EDT
Description of problem:
autofs hangs while mounting nfs dirs. strace brings me a sigabrt.
it's not hanging when i'm using a static map, without using the ldap.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Linux automount version 5.0.2-27
Steps to Reproduce:
1.for i in $(ls /import_dirs/*);echo i;done
2.after one or two trys it hangs
3.i have to start autofs again
normal mounts like without ldap
Is automount still running once this happens?

Patch to initialize sasl callbacks unconditionally on autofs LDAP library load
OK. I suspect I know what it is.
Interesting thing is that it sounds like a problem that
has been reported and I think I've fixed but I'm actually
unable to reproduce it no matter how hard I try.
I'll get an update out to testing soon as I can or you
can try the patch above.
I see that autofs revision 28 has made its way to the mirrors.
Can you give it a try please, you'll find it in updates/testing.
ok. i tested revision 28. its not working together with ldap.
it seems to work even wores: its not mountig any share.
