Description of problem: autofs hangs while mounting nfs dirs. strace brings me a sigabrt. it's not hanging when i'm using a static map, without using the ldap. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Linux automount version 5.0.2-27 How reproducible: everytime Steps to Reproduce: 1.for i in $(ls /import_dirs/*);echo i;done 2.after one or two trys it hangs 3.i have to start autofs again Expected results: normal mounts like without ldap Additional info:

no its not. i cant find it using "ps aux|grep auto".

OK. I suspect I know what it is. Interesting thing is that it sounds like a problem that has been reported and I think I've fixed but I'm actually unable to reproduce it no matter how hard I try. I'll get an update out to testing soon as I can or you can try the patch above. Ian
I see that autofs revision 28 has made its way to the mirrors. Can you give it a try please, you'll find it in updates/testing. Ian
ok. i tested revision 28. its not working together with ldap. it seems to work even wores: its not mountig any share. daniel
