From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5pre) Gecko/2008032522 Fedora/3.0-0.48.cvs20080325.fc9 Minefield/3.0b5pre Description of problem: On the config window consider the left section containing the list of services names and remarks, I'll call "the section". After some use it becomes more and more tight. If you try to make the section more large you can it for a while but at the end it becomes tiny and you can't enlarge it. I present the "step to reproduce" that gives you the fastest way to get the most problems using the keyboards arrows, but using the mouse it is simply slower. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): system-config-services-0.99.10-1.fc9.noarch How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.i open serviceconf from shell and select a service with mouse 2.i move with keyboards arrows to select other services, the section becomes smaller 3. if *now* i try to get it larger you can just a bit 4. i ride all the list up and down using arrows: the section becomes very tight, i can't read anything. I can't enlarge it any more. Actual Results: The section becomes very tight, i can't read anything. I can't enlarge it any more. Expected Results: Section size should not change, maybe get larger if the service name and remarks are very long. Additional info: I installed fedora 8 (8.1?) a week ago, i upgraded it, using "software updating" and "software installing", i suspect it pushed all rpm to the very latest version. Now on grup.conf i read vmlinuz-2.6.25-0.155.rc6.git8.fc9.i686, that should be Fedora Core 9!!! This was not what i wanted. After some upgrading, the serviceconf changed decorations, i suppose now i got the very last version.
system-config-services-0.99.11 is building at the moment which should fix the gratuitous resizing of the services list. As for the Fedora 9 versions of packages, perhaps you enabled the development repository.
