Description Orion Poplawski 2008-04-06 03:45:29 UTC
Description of problem:

avc: denied { read } for pid=2629 comm=
"ldconfig" name="tmp.EBPIQcQ7aW" dev=tmpfs ino=7595 scontext=system_u:system_
r:ldconfig_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:initrc_tmp_t:s0 tclass=file

The above is generated when the kdump init script must generate a new initrd
image at boot.

You can allow this for now by executing

# audit2allow -M mypol -i /var/log/audit/audit.log
# semodule -i mypol.pp

Fixed in selinux-policy-3.3.1-29.fc9
