With the latest Rawhide updates, Nautilus fails to start in a normal desktop

Actually, this might be more to do with gnome-mount failings:

6339 pts/2 Sl+ 0:00 nautilus
 6343 pts/2 Z+ 0:00 [gnome-mount] <defunct>

Does this happen repeatedly?

Comment 3 David Zeuthen 2008-04-12 18:52:08 UTC
Also, I'm not sure that just having a gnome-mount zombie is evidence this is a
gnome-mount bug. More information is needed - try temporarily removing
gnome-mount (or flip the executable bit) or the nautilus-open-terminal extension.

Either way, if gnome-mount hangs it shouldn't affect Nautilus as all this
happens async. Back to nautilus (but adding myself as Cc).

Comment 4 Adam Huffman 2008-04-12 19:06:40 UTC
The problem seems to have gone away with the latest updates. I've re-installed
nautilus-open-terminal and nautilus starts up normally.

I'll re-open if it recurs.
