Description of problem:

While running the mirror_sanity test case looping_mirror_log_converts the
convert command timed out:

Convert to core log 9
  Error locking on node morph-03: Command timed out
  Failed to lock mirror_log_convert
converting to corelog failed

Additional lvm commands hung on morph-03 and morph-04

On morph-03 I'm also see these messages repeating:
