Description of problem: Building live-cd on rawhide stops on glibc-common Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 015-1.fc9 How reproducible: done it twice Steps to Reproduce: 1. execute livecd-creator --config=livecd-fedora-tech.ks (this file is /usr/share/livecd-fedora-minimal plus clamav packages) 2. 3. Actual results: Process hangs at install glibc-common, eventually desktop resets. Expected results: bootable live cd Additional info: [root@localhost /]# sealert -l fa8fcbee-2ac0-4d92-b265-6b8e50ef625e Summary: SELinux is preventing livecd-creator (tzdata_t) "sigchld" to <Unknown> (unconfined_notrans_t). Detailed Description: SELinux denied access requested by livecd-creator. It is not expected that this access is required by livecd-creator and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is causing it to require additional access. Allowing Access: You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ (http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Or you can disable SELinux protection altogether. Disabling SELinux protection is not recommended. Please file a bug report (http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi) against this package. I fixed this AVC, but we should probably do something about livecd-creator, failing to run in enforcing mode, since it will only screw up your machine. livecd's need to be created in permissive mode. Since they will install an selinux-policy that will be different then the host and can send the machine in to a death spiral. Fixed in selinux-policy-3.3.1-35.fc9
