Description of problem: When some documnet or text file is sent to HP Color Laserjet 2600n printer the printer does not print any thing. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): cups as in Fedora-9-Beta-i386 How reproducible: Send any document to the printer for printing. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open OpenOffice.org Writer or any text editor. 2.Type a few lines. 3.Go to file > print and select printer HP 2600n 4.Give command for priting by pressing print button. Actual results: The printer just does not respond Expected results: The document or text file should have been printed. Additional info: The system-config-printer selects HP Color Laserjet 2605 as recommended driver The full hardware profile is avaialabe at http://www.smolt.org/show?/uuid=pub_85955a62-7804-46c3-9010-eb5cf098549a When test page is given for printing there is no response from the printer.
Please try using the trouble-shooter: start system-config-printer and select Help->Troubleshoot from the menu.
