I'm using fedora 8 as told above, and my graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce Go 6150. Nothing is shown in /var/log/messages Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enable 3D effects 2.Wait for 10-20 minutes 3.System completely freezes Actual Results: System freezes, the mouse stops responding as well. Nothing is outputted to /var/log/messages Expected Results: The system should have continued to run smoothly.
