Description of problem:

http://www.docbook.org/tdg/en/html/package.html

Currently unsupported:
WARNING: Unknown tag: package. This tag may not be displayed correctly

I use this tag to identify software packages, although DocBook doesn't prescribe
any particular meaning to it. I don't know what anyone else might use it for...

thanks a bunch ~!

Please provide the SVN location of the book and the file name using this tag, so
we can QA the output in all formats.

Comment 2 David O'Brien 2008-05-01 23:25:15 UTC
Repository of book that uses this element:
https://svn.devel.redhat.com/repos/ecs/Red_Hat_Enterprise_IPA/1.0/Client_Setup_Guide

The file "Configuring_RHEL_Clients.xml" contains at least one instance:

The <package>ipa-admintools</package> package is not available for &RHEL; 4.
Consequently, you need to perform the following steps on the IPA server.

The docbot html output of this can be found here:
https://engineering.redhat.com/docbot/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_IPA/1.0/html/Client_Configuration_Guide/sect-Client_Configuration_Guide-Configuring_the_IPA_Client_on_RHEL_4-Configuring_NFS_v4_with_Kerberos.html

Let's know if you need anything further.

Comment 3 Jeff Fearn 🐞 2008-05-02 00:08:28 UTC
Added package tag to validation script.

Modified layout of package tag in xhtml and pdf for all brands.

Verified output is XHTML 1.0 Strict.
