Description of problem: The pycairo upstream CVS repository has examples and documents (in the 'examples' and 'doc' directories), but these are not being included in the current Fedora pycairo or pycairo-devel packages. I looked at another Fedora Python package - 'pygtk2' - and noticed that it does include examples in /usr/lib64/pygtk/2.0/demos/ /usr/share/doc/pygtk2-2.12.0/examples/ and that 'pygtk-devel' has documentation in /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/pygtk/ So I think pycairo (or pycairo-devel) should be packaged in a similar way to include documents and examples. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): pycairo 1.4.12 1.fc8 pycairo-devel 1.4.12 1.fc8
pycairo-1.4.12-3.fc9 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 9
pycairo-1.4.12-2.fc8 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 8
Fixed for Fedora 8, 9 and Rawhide: pycairo-1.4.12-2.fc8 pycairo-1.4.12-3.fc9 pycairo-1.4.12-3.fc10
pycairo-1.4.12-3.fc9 has been pushed to the Fedora 9 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
