Description of problem: I'm using a Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop with a Broadcom 4312 rev 1 wireless card in a WEP (yeah, lame) environment. The wireless card never really associates with an AP: it lists networks, but dhcp fails. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): NetworkManager-0.7.0-0.9.3.svn3623.fc9.i386 kernel-2.6.25-14.fc9.i686 Ndiswrapper works.

Changing version to '9' as part of upcoming Fedora 9 GA. More information and reason for this action is here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers/HouseKeeping
In 2.6.23.3-18 the problem is gone. [root@HumanError ~]# rpm -q kernel ndiswrapper kernel-2.6.25-14.fc9.i686 kernel-2.6.25.3-18.fc9.i686 ndiswrapper-1.52-1.lvn9.i386 [root@HumanError ~]# uname -a Linux HumanError.shirk.pl 2.6.25.3-18.fc9.i686 #1 SMP Tue May 13 05:38:53 EDT 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Urm, sorry for that ndiswrapper version. It's disabled, of course, I meand NetworkManager: NetworkManager-0.7.0-0.9.3.svn3623.fc9.i386
Can you replicate this problem using the kernels here? http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=49743
Well that's a lot of b43 changes. And the bug is gone from it as well. Thanks.
