Description of problem:
Unison exits with fatal error "Uncaught exception: out of memory"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
unison227-2.27.57-8.fc9.x86_64

How reproducible:
~80% of executions

Steps to Reproduce:
1.run unison (with or without GUI)
2.
3.
  
Actual results:
FATAL ERROR: Uncaught exception out of memory.

Expected results:
File synchronization dialog.

Additional info:
The system passes 'memtest86+'
