Is this better in F9?
I also had this on my Acer Aspire 5630, fixed with this: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bugs/F8Common#head-ab9c2ff9166fa54eb2c08cd8c51162252b16ad8a
This should be fixed for F9.
