Looks like problem of system-config-boot or anaconda. For now changing component on system-config-boot. definitely anaconda Can you please attach /tmp/anaconda.log and /tmp/syslog to this bug report? Also are there any unusual error messages on tty3 or tty4? Thanks. Description of problem: Currently we are evaluating RHEL 5.2 Beta version with our otherboards.When I am loading 64bit OS in some chipsets, during 6th CD installation the bootloader file get loading for infiniti time. In that stage it showing like "installing bootloader" and loading for long time. But system does not hanging or rebooting. For both default minimal packages and all packages it show this error.Find the attached error page screenshot and sosreport. We have to hard boot the machine. After rebooting it gets into the os. The following are some motherboards in which we are facing this issue.
