+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #447400 +++ When testing against some servers at connectathon, I'd see the message in the summary. The problem is that we're attempting to close a filehandle that has already been closed, so the server throws back the SMB equivalent of EBADF. Patch is already upstream.
