Description Subhendu Ghosh 2008-05-20 06:09:18 UTC
Description of problem:
The current release of fence_impilan only supports IPMI v1.5 authtype format.
The underlying ipmitool also supports IPMI v2.0 ciphersuites in lanplus
connections. Would be nice to get IPMIv2 support in fence_ipmilan.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
cman-2.0.73-1.el5_1.5
OpenIPMI-tools-2.0.6-5.el5.4

Patch providing required function

If user select lanplus as IPMI protocol, ipmitool automatically select cipher type 3. This patch add possibility to select another type of cipher. New -C parameter is directly passed as -C parameter to ipmitool.
