Description Steve Strong 2008-05-20 13:48:21 UTC
Description of problem: when we add a samba printer shared by a win2k computer
we are not able to browse to the printer, but we can type in the name of the
print server and the name of the printer. we can also verify the authentication
to the printer, but we can't print to the printer. the debugging information
says that "no authentication data was sent"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
cups-1.3.7-2.fc9.i386

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a new printer
2. supply user and password for access to the printer
3. try to print a document

Actual results:
the queued document's printing process is killed and a dialog is presented to
debug the problem

Expected results:
the document would print
