Thanks for the patch. Would you be able to give a simple usage example which
triggers the relevant bug?

Oh, of course; I thought the problem is triggered by virtually any incorrect
xpath passwd to xgrep, such as:

xgrep -x 'lala lala lala' some.xml

xgrep-0.07-1.fc9 has been pushed to the Fedora 9 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
