I haven't been able to reproduce this issue on my system. However new gvfs package contains many FUSE fixes. Could you please take gvfs-0.2.4-1 from testing and try if the issue is gone? Similar issue from upstream: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=536614

gvfs-0.2.4-1.fc9 has been pushed to the Fedora 9 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
