Red Hat Product Errata RHBA-2009:0126 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE squid bug fix update 2009-01-20 16:04:53 UTC

Description Milan Zázrivec 2008-05-23 12:52:19 UTC
Description of problem:
squid package should own /usr/share/squid directory. Currently it owns
everything under it, not the directory itself. This setup leads to mislabeled
(selinux) /usr/share/squid.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
squid-2.6.STABLE6-5.el5_1.3 / RHEL5.2 GA

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install RHEL5.2, squid included, selinux enabled
2. # rpm -qf /usr/share/squid
3. # ls -Zd /usr/share/squid
4. # matchpathcon /usr/share/squid

Actual results:
# rpm -qf /usr/share/squid
file /usr/share/squid is not owned by any package
# ls -dZ /usr/share/squid
drwxr-xr-x root root system_u:object_r:usr_t:s0 /usr/share/squid
# matchpathcon /usr/share/squid
/usr/share/squid system_u:object_r:squid_conf_t:s0

Additional info:
Low priority, unlikely to cause any harm.
