Description of problem:
backtrace when unclick "Enable the sound system" in Sound System, Control
Center. Will attach. Happens the first time you hit 'apply' after deselecting.

How reproducible:
Always, at least on stable boxen (may relate to 'Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such file or directory)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.' error from
artsmessage).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. In KDE, go to control center, sound & multimedia, sound system.
2. Uncheck "Enable the sound system" and apply.
  
Actual results:
backtrace.

Expected results:
No backtrace.
