Description of problem: from smb.conf: # If you create a new directory you want to share you should mark it as # "samba-share_t" so that selinux will let you write into it. some lines later: # To set a label use the following: chcon -t samba_share_t /path The documentation is wrong, the example is correct. The SELinux context is written with an "_" and not with "-". I found this bug in RHEL 5.1 originally, it`s there too.

Fedora 9 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2009-07-10. Fedora 9 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
