Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 448791
Missing jhat executable
Last modified: 2008-09-09 16:04:09 EDT
Description of problem:
The OpenJDK package for x86_64 is missing the executable binary for jhat. The
manual is there, but no corresponding command available. Not verified against
other architectures, may or may not be x86_64-specific.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Current official. ( 126.96.36.199-0.7.b08.el5.2 )
Trivial, missing in package contents-list.
Jhat is a tool for debugging memory-leaks in java apps. Missing it makes the
package less useful both for developers and administrators of java applications.
Works in Ubuntu Hardy, x86_64
This had been fixed since.
