Description of problem:Well, I have a Fedora 2.6.18-1.2849.fc6 #1 SMP in a IBM
e-series, this server is used for file system based in samba. The problem is
some days before find the server completly freeze, and show in messages this
error: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address
00000000 and BUG: soft lockup detected on CPU#0! to #3 and Blank IRQ resource


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):2.6.18-1.2849.fc6 SMP


How reproducible:This server was started last year and this happen one month ago
and hapened yesterday. Only one thing, the server no refresh so fast the share
resource and lat day show messages in the client "one of the server are not
connected or dissapear"


Steps to Reproduce:
1.adding to sharing so many emac and pc
2.dont refresh the sharing so fast
3.show the message one of the server are not connected or dissapear in a few o emac

fedora 6 hasn't been supported some time now.

Ok, but i need to do something for that server, yesterday upgrade the kernel,
because i found the version of kernel is not stable and the upgrade was 2.6.22
One more, in the log messages, i found the nex line and i dont now how repair: 
"unable to sync browse list in this workgroup" when that appear in the client
show the next messages "one of the server are desconnected or is unavailble" but
stay on freez and connect again.... i thanks so much your comments
