I guess this is the problem:

Running 2.6.25.4-30.fc9.x86_64 works fine, kernel-2.6.25.4-42.fc9.x86_64 crashes

-39 crashes with the same trace.

also crashes all system on shutdown (2.6.25.6-55.fc9.i686)

Does this issue remain with current kernels?
