iwl3945 wireless fails to connect

Description of problem:
If I boot my laptop into kernel 220.127.116.11-76, the iwl3945 driver fails to authenticate to my WPA (PSK) network.
Kernel 18.104.22.168-55 does not show this problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot into 22.214.171.124-76
2. Try to connect to any wireless network
NetworkManager spins for a while, then asks for a password again.
Wireless network connection established.
