Description joe cipale 2008-07-18 18:11:42 UTC
Description of problem:
I am very, very unhappy with the new FC9 release. Hardware support for
displays is lacking (on reboot/logout, system will change resolution for no
reason). The ability to configure servers (NFS-Client/Server, Samba) has been
changed to the point it is unusable. The fact that you give us that POS known
as Gnome is deplorable, despite the fact that I *DO NOT CHOOSE* to install it,
I get it anyway. Throw in the lack of window managers (fvwm, icewm, mwm, twm,
etc) it is enough to make me choose to unistall it and go back to a prvious
rev (FC6) or change distros altogether (SuSE 10.X).

I dont know who or what you listen to, but this release is a disgrace.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just install the damn thing

Actual results:
Very disappointing... compared to FC6

Expected results:
I was hoping for an enhanced package that worked as well as FC6. I am greatly
disappointed. I am also not pleased with the look/feel of the new Menu.

I'm sorry you are disappointed, but I really can't do anything with such a bug
report.

Please report each specific issue separately, against the correct component if
possible.
