This patch provides information for our management API for Fibre Channel over Ethernet devices. This provides functionality that would formerly have been performed by ioctl's. Functionality includes updating firmware on embedded ether router, retrieving information (port stats etc. ) and changing configuration. Tested at QLogic. I believe it is in the process of being submitted upstream. A copy of the upstream patch will also be attached to the BZ. THe desire is to support the same interface and thus the back ported patch has changes to provide support missing in this version of the kernel. A test program is also attached. .
