Description Levente Farkas 2008-08-07 14:31:04 UTC
unfortunately the realtek network adapters which included on most intel motherboard are not working with the rhel-5.2's kernel. see more info at:
http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/HardwareList/RealTekRTL8101
http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/HardwareList/RealTekRTL8111b
please include these two driver in the rhel kernel they haven't any problems and at least working while the rtl8139 shipped with rhel-5.2 are not (at least in many of our case, even if it's better then the rhel-5.1 version).
thanks

Please be advised, that Bugzilla is not a support tool. It is an
Engineering and Community tool. So although all changes to Enterprise
Linux go through Bugzilla and Red Hat considers issues directly entered
into Bugzilla valuable feedback, there is no SLA around it.

If this is a production issue, please report it to your Red Hat Support contact.

Thank you.
