Could this patch, or an updated version of openjdk please be rolled into the current version of Java on Fedora 9?
I'd just update to rawhide, but attpeting to only update the openjdk packages has a dependency on ca-certificates-2008-6.noarch and file /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt from install of ca-certificates-2008-6.noarch conflicts with file from package openssl-0.9.8g-9.fc9.x86_64
after pulling down the rpms from rawhide, and installing them with the nodeps rpm option, my problem is resolved.
I'd still prefer to see an official fix in F9.
java-1.6.0-openjdk-220.127.116.11-0.18.b09.fc9 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 9.
java-1.6.0-openjdk-18.104.22.168-0.18.b09.fc9 has been pushed to the Fedora 9 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
