Description of problem: Package names given to yum are case sensitive Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.2.19 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. Attempt install of package (eg. "miro") Actual results: No package are installed, however I am asked if I meant "Miro" Expected results: The "Miro" package is installed Additional info: Having the suggestion of "Miro" is nice, but considering the overheard of retrieving the repo data for each yum command, do the packages really need to be case sensitive?
First, if you've just run yum, running immediately after will not download anything at all. It will be using all cached data. Second, if you're going to ask to change the state of your system I think it makes sense to make sure you are asking for exactly what you get.
