I've tried again, with gnome-session-properties running in fr_FR.utf-8, and it works fine here.

I have just re-installed from the beta medium. After update gnome-session package is 2.24.0-6. It now works as expected, I don't get this error message anymore. I think you may close this bug as it seems it has been corrected upstream. Or can I do it ?
